Very expected game in Seoul where 9th rankedSamsung Thunders (7-17) were rolled over by fourth ranked KoGas (14-10) 114-77 on Saturday. KoGas made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. KoGas outrebounded Seoul Thunders 37-23 including 25 on the defensive glass. KoGas looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Seoul Thunders ' players. It was a great evening for Filipino guard Samjosef Belangel (177-1999) who led his team to a victory scoring 36 points (!!!) and 8 assists. Senegalese center Youssou Ndoye (213-1991, college: St.Bonaventure) helped adding 18 points and 12 rebounds. Four KoGas players scored in double figures. The former international forward Junghyun Lee (191-1987) responded with 21 points and 4 assists and Jamaican center Kofi Cockburn (213-1999, college: Illinois) scored 9 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. KoGas maintains fourth place with 14-10 record. Loser Samsung Thunders keep the ninth position with 17 games lost.
